Karl has worked for global companies such as ALFA LAVAL and served as President and BOD Member of the Probat Group, including Probat Burns, Inc.

 Holding a Master’s in Engineering and Business Administration, Karl has a proven track record of improving financial operations and engineering transformations. His qualifications in process engineering include optimizing production workflows, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and enhancing operational efficiencies. He specializes in strategic acquisitions to drive revenue growth and has a deep understanding of systems, plant design, and process technology.

Karl is well-versed in the North American Coffee and Confectionery Industry and is an active member of NCA, SCAA, and RG. He is a recognized speaker at industry events, discussing topics like roasting technologies, environmental emissions, and heat transfer in roasting. With an in-depth understanding of the art and science of roasting coffee, Karl delves into the chemistry and thermodynamics involved, ensuring precision and quality in every roast.
