Lucy Stocker
Presenter Bio
After a successful engineering career, Lucy returned to her farming roots nine years ago, inspired by the emergence of specialty coffee. Observing that her childhood home in the Southern Atherton Tablelands had the perfect conditions for exceptional coffee, she now manages 30,000 coffee trees on her farm, with an additional 20,000 trees locally. Lucy’s farm grows several varieties, with the red and yellow Catuai standing out for their lush green foliage and manageable size. Her long-term vision is to establish a new industry in her region, encouraging other farmers to plant small coffee paddocks. Just as Margaret River and Coonawarra are celebrated for wine, Lucy aspires to make the Southern Atherton Tablelands renowned for outstanding coffee.
